Good Company Programs
Young Artist Program:
Create and Perform
The Young Artist Program gives students in grades 5–12 the opportunity to experience the full process of creating and performing live theater in a supportive, collaborative environment. Led by Artistic Executive Director Amy Lynn Hamlin, from time to time together with guest choreographers, teaching artists, and other theater professionals, including from Broadway and beyond, the program emphasizes both artistic growth and the experience of being part of a company. Young artists develop their skills in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft while working together toward fully realized, superb theatrical productions. For an additional fee, young artists will also have the option to participate in a professional, live recording session at Power Station recording studio in New York City.
Mainstage Productions:
Perform and Collaborate
Good Company’s Mainstage Productions bring adult performers and theater artists together to create high-quality live theater for the local community. Launched with our inaugural production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown in June 2026, the Mainstage program provides meaningful opportunities for adults to perform, collaborate, and continue developing as artists while producing engaging theatrical experiences for local audiences. Productions draw on the talents of performers, directors, designers, musicians, and other theater professionals and community members to create work that reflects Good Company’s commitment to both artistic quality and community connection.
Broadway Teaching Artist Series: Train and Develop
The Teaching Artist Series connects Good Company participants with accomplished professional artists for focused training and artistic development. Offered primarily as multi-week classes during after-school hours, the series brings Broadway performers and other professional actors, singers, dancers, directors, designers, and theater artists to our community to share their experience and expertise. Offerings will vary based on artist availability and may focus on acting, vocal performance, dance, production/design, audition technique, or other specialized areas, giving participants opportunities to deepen or develop skills beyond those explored in a traditional rehearsal and production setting.
Good Company Studio Experience at Power Station at Berklee NYC
As part of our collaboration with Power Station at Berklee NYC, registered artists will have the additional option to spend a day in the legendary recording studios, recording material from the production they are currently working on and participating in a special masterclass experience.
Good Company artists will join the ranks of legendary artists who have recorded there like Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and John Lennon. And their show recordings will be taken in the same place as Hamilton and Les Miserables.
